基础英语、高职高专英语阅读课程标准
一、课程性质与任务
本课程是高等职业教育的一个有机组成部分,是五年制大专部学生的一门必修的基础课程。本课程突出了“立足实用、打好基础、强化能力”的高职英语教学原则。其基本思路立足于以人为本,提高学生的英语交际能力,采用听读领先的教学模式,以话题为中心,开展听、读、说、写的综合训练,合理设计;注重科学性、趣味性、前瞻性、灵活性,强调实用性。教材由浅入深,循序渐进。根据学生可塑性强的特点,设计各种实用有趣的活动,不仅为学生提供练习的机会,更使他们在运用语言交际的过程中获得乐趣和成就感。在完成本课程基础阶段学习后,学生应全面掌握基础词汇和基本语法,并具有较强的英语综合应用能力,从而为以后的专业英语学习打下坚实基础,实现本课程提高基础阶段英语水平的目标。
二、课程教学目标
本课程为了适应初中后高职教育的实际需要,适当增加了跨文化交际方面的材料,并吸收新知识,新观念,突出实用性,增加了课堂活动的趣味性。通过本课程的学习,学生应该达到下列要求:
1. 词汇
认知2700个英语单词(包括入学时要求掌握的2100个单词)以及由这些词构成的常用词组,并具有按照基本构词法识别生词的能力。对其中2100个左右的基础词汇能正确拼写,并能正确使用。
2. 语法
掌握基本的英语语法规则,在听、说、读、写、译中能正确运用所学语法知识。
3. 听力
能分辨出一些发音相近的基础词汇,听懂简单的、语速较慢的日常对话,并能边听边填写与日常生活紧密相关的、简单的短文中的关键词汇。
4. 口语
能用英语进行一般的课堂交际,并能就与日常生活相关的主题进行简单的陈述。
5. 阅读
能阅读生词量不超过总词数3%的英文资料,理解正确并且阅读速度不低于每分钟60词。
6. 写作
能就一般性题材,在30分钟内写出80-100词的命题作文;能填写和模拟套写简短的英语应用文,如邀请函,感谢信,祝贺信,回复函,海报,通知等,词句基本正确,无重大语法错误,格式恰当,表达清楚。
7. 翻译(英译汉)
能借助词典将难度适中、生词不超过总词数5%的实用文字材料译成汉语,做到理解基本准确,文字流畅,格式正确。
三、参考学时
总学时280学时,理论课200学时,实践学时80学时。

五、教学建议
1.教学方法
由于基础英语面向的是初中毕业生以及高中未毕业生,英语水平整体较低,基本词汇量和基本语法的掌握仍不够全面,所以在阅读教学上主要采用讲授法,在讲授法的基础上会适当使用启发法和提问法,以使学生在听懂理解的基础上能积极思考,积极参与,融入到英语课堂教学中来,增强学习英语的信心和兴趣。此外在听力、练习处理和口语与写作教学环节中有针对性的相应采用多媒体教学法、任务教学法和交际教学法,从而达到听、说、读、写各个方面能力的全面提高。
2.评价方法
课程考核采用平时成绩,期中考试与该课程期末考试相结合的办法,各占一定的比例:
总评成绩=期末成绩×40%+期中成绩×30%+平日成绩×30%。
其中日常考核包括课堂出勤,课堂提问,作业上交以及阶段测试等情况;期末考试采用书面闭卷考试方式。
3.教学条件
多媒体教室,拥有必备的英文字典,英文音像视频等资料,以备教学之需。
